7-    The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006: This Act prohibits the marriage of girls below the age of 18 and boys below the age of 21.

8-    The National Commission for Women Act, 1990: This Act provides for the establishment of a National Commission for Women to review and recommend policies for the protection and empowerment of women.
